Our Story
IRIS Comfort Inn – Luxury Rooms in Chennai. As people who travel a lot both for business and pleasure, we are only too aware of the importance of a good place to stay. Whether it is a short or long visit, the comfort of your accommodation will make all the difference between an average trip and a memorable experience.
Staying in a place that has the facilities of your home combined with a relaxing atmosphere and luxurious ambience is what we seek when we travel. We wondered how it would be to create this experience for travellers coming to our beloved hometown Chennai. Thus was born the concept of Iris Comfort Inn which aims to offer a luxury home away from home for everyone who chooses to stay with us.
In Greek mythology, Iris is the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. She is also known as one of the goddesses of the sea and the sky. Iris links the gods to humanity.
A rainbow is an atmosphere marvel caused by reflection, refraction and scattering of light in water beads, producing a range of multicolor light — typically the 7 exemplary hues: violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red — found in the sky inverse the sun, particularly after rain.
The Greek name IRIS is chosen for the Luxury villa as it was designed and built using Greek architecture. As the Villa has 7 rooms like the 7 colors in the rainbow, which is also the name for the Greek goddess of the rainbow. It is also a popular garden flower which has a wide variety of colors.
